About Claire
Above all, I am a wife to my best friend and a mommy to two beautiful and crazy girls! They sure keep me on my toes, but I wouldn’t have life any other way! Their curiosity and joy inspires me to see the art in everyday things.
While I have enjoyed photography as a hobby since childhood, my real passion for it began after I had my first child. There were so many precious moments that I wanted properly documented – a fleeting grin, a chubby knee, even a pouting lip. However, I never found any studio setting to be the right location for my family’s portraits. We would look stiff and uncomfortable. Probably rightly so, after hauling ourselves and our kids into a waiting room in this stressful attempt to appear “perfect”. My goal as a photographer is to capture true moments where you and your children are most comfortable, in a place with meaning to you. This type of setting allows me to create treasured images that your family can enjoy for generations to come.
