***On Maternity Leave***

Posted on June 22, 2010

The time has come for me to hang up my photographer hat for a few months.  As hard as it is to do, Baby #3 is due in less than three weeks and I need to start preparing for that day!  The plan is to start taking sessions again in October – so if you are interested in that time frame, feel free to contact me at cbphotography@clairebeeler.com whenever you like!  I might be a little slower to answer e-mails in the coming weeks, but I promise I will get back to you!  Thank you for your patience.

In the meantime, I will try to pop in with some fun pictures from our family every now and then to keep things fresh around here!

Ryan & Colle | Phoenix Engagement Photographer

Posted on June 6, 2010

These two were an adventure to photograph!  We had so much fun including two of their loves, horses for her and dirt bikes for him!  They agreed to meet me at the crack of dawn, and they were even early – now that is commitment!  =)

R&C

We had some gorgeous morning light to work in though, so it was definitely worth it!

R&CBike

Then we headed to a nearby park to include a little greenery.

R&CKiss

Something I discovered I love about doing engagements, you get to vividly remember the days where you were just smitten with each other!

Colle is just gorgeous!

Thanks for a great morning you two!

It was a pleasure to be able to photograph this sweet family!  We were able to include Grandma and a Great-Aunt as well, this family just has so much love for each other!  They were all so eager and willing to chase down some light with me.  We had a great time, I could have played with their beautiful children all day!

Baby Fever | Chandler Family Photographer

Posted on March 29, 2010

**Warning:  Extreme cuteness ahead.  If you are prone to baby love, proceed with caution.**

Yesterday, I was able to spend time with this adorable little man:

Carr1

He was a complete joy to photograph!  Six months is truly the ideal age, when they can sit up, but not yet crawl away!  He rocked his session, though – a smile ever spread across that adorable face!  I did manage to squeeze a few serious looks in -

When he decided he was done being the complete center of attention, we turned to some family time.

Carr3

And then, I captured what I think is now my favorite mommy shot!  I need something like this of me and my kids!

Carr4

That’s it.  Baby fever has officially commenced!!!

I hope you enjoy your little peek, C family!  I will be in touch soon with many more!

Isn’t she gorgeous?

Brielle6

Of course, I am not at all biased…

Brielle3BW

it is just coincidence that she is my newest niece, and the only child in the family younger  than my own!

She is just the sweetest!

Family Moments | Arizona Family Photographer

Posted on December 31, 2009

This family found me all the way in California, wanting portraits at Slide Rock since they would all be there together this year.  After arriving to a huge “CLOSED” sign, we ended up a few more miles up the road at West Fork.  After a short walk (on snow and ice) we began our session only to have it begin to snow.  Sounds almost like a recipe for disaster, doesn’t it?  But not with this amazing family!  They smiled right through it – laughed, joked, and drank hot cocoa!  It was a real pleasure to spend the morning with them.

They were so fun, I actually considered the joys of a bigger family… for a minute or two!  ;o)  But who wouldn’t?  These two look like they have thoroughly enjoyed it!

couple

It still just makes me smile to see that snow all over their hair.  What troopers they all were!!!

Thank you ALL for coming out!  I truly had a great time freezing with you!  ;o)  I will be sending the link to your full gallery soon!

Happy New Year, everyone!!!

Shy is just as cute! | Anthem Family Photographer

Posted on December 14, 2009

On Saturday I was able to meet up with this super cute family whose kids are the same age as my own!  We had fun just running around the park for an hour!  =)

Their youngest wasn’t too fond of my camera being shoved in his face -

IMG_5178-BW

Not that I can really blame him.  But I love all the shy shots of him just the same!!!  Don’t worry, we made sure he had some fun!

IMG_5028

His Daddy is quite the tosser!!!

Big brother was so fun, and ever willing to smile and laugh at my goofy jokes!

IMG_4914

He really made my day!!!  But, with a family like this, who wouldn’t be smiling ear to ear?!?

Thanks for coming out B family!  Hope you enjoy your sneak peek – there are many, many more coming at you very soon!

Brrrr!!! | Phoenix Children’s Photographer

Posted on December 7, 2009

This family was so great, they braved one of Phoenix’s rare 50 degree days to come out and have their portraits done!  We had a great time, dispite the cold!  Their girls are just precious:

And I loved how they always smiled so sweetly and looked right into the camera!  Every photographer’s dream!!!  =D

There are many more to come – so keep an eye out!!!

Early morning | Phoenix Family Photographer

Posted on October 25, 2009

This Saturday was a fun-filled photo day, and I started it out bright and early with this adorable family!  We had a great time enjoying the cool morning and watching all the birds at Freestone Park – even the ones who were chasing us!  =)  I’m not posting any of the family shots because I don’t want to ruin any Christmas card secrets – so you will have to wait until they have given me the OK to post any others!  Until then, check out this super sweet Daddy-daughter moment!

DaddyLarissa

That just melts my heart!

Oh yes, and I am head-over-heels for this little guy…

Jake

– but who wouldn’t be, right?!?  His eyes are not touched up here, they are just really that amazing!

And, what has to be one of my new favorite shots:

Toss

His Daddy wasn’t holding anything back with these tosses!

Thank you for getting up early and coming out on your crazy busy day, B Family!  Many more are on their way soon!!!

A perfect fit | Phoenix couples photographer

Posted on October 11, 2009

I had the pleasure of photographing two long time friends tonight.  Can I just say I have the best job ever when I get to just hang out with fun people for an hour or two, how awesome is that?!?  They have been married for four years now, and having seen them together since day one – I have to say they are truly in sync with each other.

Phannie1

We had a little too much fun in downtown tonight.  We were asked not to take photos in front of a certain historical building – unless we made a donation.  In lieu of digging through our purses for change we opted to just move on.

Meanwhile, we grabbed a shot for this awesome couple’s future album cover.  Not sure what instrument she is going to play, but we are ready once she picks one up!  ;o)

Pahnnie4

These two are just a blast!  And they compliment each other just perfectly, while joking or relaxing – can’t you tell?

Phannie5

I just love that!  And this…

Phannie6

Then we ended our evening with a skip around Heritage Square!  And this was even their idea!!!

Phannie3

Totally in step.  Why am I even surprised?

Thanks the the fun afternoon A&P!  I can’t wait to show you the rest!!!
